Fallout 4 Guide: Where to Find Copper, Circuitry, and Other Rare Resources.
Our topic today will not go too deep about the main story and gameplays but to focus on some tips that might help you to utilize the Fallout 4’s Workshop in an effective and productive way. As the Workshop of this game is pretty fantastic when you have the right resources.
If you are looking for copper, circuitry, and other rare resources then keep scrolling down and we will show you on how to tag items that you’re looking for in order to focus on those resources that you actually need.
First of all, if you really save your time in your resource scavenging, follow this tip: If you have something you want to build but unfortunately you don’t have the items that are required, let’s say for example a generator needing oil and copper, then what you will need to do is hit the button displayed at the bottom to mark it as search.
This will automatically mark the resources you are missing as a searched item only.
So what does it really mean? Basically from that point of view, when you are looking at something that can break down into the resource you marked, it will be displayed with a magnifying glass next to it. And with this, you could understand that while you might not think you want that Gas Canister, it actually contains oil that you’ve been looking for the whole time.
By applying this method, you will find out that it is not so hard to find those rare items such as copper, circuitry, and some other stuff. They are actually more common than you thought.
Let’s say, for example, while playing the game you will notice that those Hot Plates are very common/ popular items inside the game. You could find them in almost every kitchen and shack that you pass by. They might be useless items at first, but actually, they contain copper!!
Another method to collect copper is to look out for street lamps. You can utilize fuses and table lamps to scrap for copper. The favorite location is in Sanctuary Hills, there’s plenty of copper that you can get from the street lamps alone.
It will get a bit trickier when you’re trying to find circuitry, which is one of the rare items that could be found at a settlement.
The only best way is to play the missions and try to scavenge every area that you come across. For example, Milton General Hospital is one of the dedicated locations for this item. The area is rife with items that can be scrapped for circuitry.
The other way to collect some circuitry is to destroy turrets. You should encounter them when traveling across the Diamond City or during missions.
Fallout 4 has a system that makes it a little easier for you to find the resources you actually need, rather than having to pick everything up that you come across. You’ll figure out that you should have been collecting those hot plates, light bulbs, bottles, etc. from the beginning because by doing that, things will be easier when working in your Workshop.
